A transparent retort pack lets buyers see the food, but clarity alone is not enough. The pouch must also maintain its seals, shape and protective performance through filling, thermal processing, handling and storage.
FUYA can develop clear retort pouch structures for prepared foods, sauces, meat products and other applications where an opaque foil pack would hide the contents. Barrier level, pouch size, sealant layer and opening format are selected around the product and process.
Provide the food type, expected storage conditions, pouch dimensions, sealing equipment and full retort cycle for evaluation. Clear structures should be tested with the actual product because barrier and appearance requirements vary by application.

Clear retort pouch is a transparent, flexible packaging bag used to store food. It allows the product inside to be cooked, sterilized, and pasteurized directly within the package using high-temperature steam or pressure (up to 121°C–135°C).
