Coextruded EVOH barrier film integrates barrier, strength and seal layers in a 7-layer, 9-layer or 11-layer structure for custom packaging.

Using separate materials for barrier, strength and sealing can make film selection and converting more complicated. A coextruded structure integrates these functions into one roll film with a defined layer sequence.
In FUYA coextruded EVOH film, the EVOH layer controls oxygen and aroma transfer. The supporting PA, PE or PP layers are selected for mechanical strength, humidity protection, processing and sealing. Seven-layer, 9-layer and 11-layer options allow the design to be adjusted without treating layer count as the only measure of performance.
